What you will do and explore with us

Day 1
Day 1: Cusco – Upis – Pucacocha Camp
  • 05:00 am – Pick up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer through scenic valleys and traditional villages until reaching the starting point in Tinki.
  • Begin your trek towards Upis, surrounded by spectacular views of Ausangate Mountain and herds of llamas and alpacas grazing freely on the high plains.
  • Continue the journey to the breathtaking Pucacocha Lagoon, a turquoise gem embraced by towering glaciers.
  • Arrive at camp and enjoy a delicious dinner freshly prepared by our cook, while the clear Andean sky offers one of the most magical stargazing experiences of your life.

Day 2
Day 2: Pucacocha – Anantapata – Warmisaya Pass – Surinecocha Camp
  • Wake up early with a warm breakfast before heading towards Anantapata Valley, a peaceful spot framed by colorful mountains.
  • Cross the challenging yet rewarding Warmisaya Pass (5,000 m / 16,404 ft), where every step reveals panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and endless horizons.
  • Descend into the mystical surroundings of Surinecocha Lagoon, your campsite for the night.
  • After an evening briefing, rest under the silence of the Andes, far from the bustle of the world.

Day 3
Day 3: Surinecocha – Rainbow Mountain – Pacchanta

  • Continue your hike towards Pacchanta, a welcoming Andean community known for its traditions and hospitality.

Day 4
Day 4: Pacchanta – Tinki – Cusco

  • Arrive in Cusco around mid-afternoon, with your heart full of adventure and your spirit forever touched by the Ausangate experience.
