Discover the incredible biodiversity of the Peruvian Amazon on this 4-day Manu Cultural Zone tour from Cusco. This immersive journey takes you from the Andean highlands through the spectacular Cloud Forest and into the tropical lowlands of the Amazon rainforest.
Located in southeastern Peru, the wider Manu region is internationally recognized for its extraordinary biodiversity. The Manu Biosphere Reserve is a UNESCO-designated area, while Manu National Park is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Along the way, explore the lush Cloud Forest, home to orchids, butterflies, hummingbirds, and the colorful Andean Cock-of-the-Rock, Peru’s national bird. As you descend towards the Amazon lowlands, the landscapes gradually transform into dense tropical rainforest, rich in wildlife and fascinating plant species.
Enjoy scenic boat trips along the Alto Madre de Dios River, where you may spot capybaras, caimans, monkeys, and a variety of tropical birds. Accompanied by experienced naturalist guides, take part in guided jungle walks to discover the rainforest’s remarkable ecosystem, medicinal plants, and diverse wildlife.
With an additional day compared to the shorter Manu program, this 4-day adventure offers more time to explore the Amazon environment, enjoy wildlife observation, and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the rainforest.
