The ATV Tour to Maras, Moray, and the Salt Mines is the perfect blend of adrenaline, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. Riding your own quad bike through the Sacred Valley’s scenic routes allows you to enjoy stunning views of the snow-capped mountains of Veronica and Chicon, vast fields, and traditional Andean villages.
Along the way, you will explore the mysterious Moray archaeological site, an Inca laboratory with concentric terraces used to experiment with crops. You will also visit the famous Maras Salt Mines (Salineras), a dazzling complex of more than 3,000 salt pools, where local families continue the ancestral process of salt production.
This adventure is ideal for travelers who want to combine cultural discovery with the thrill of off-road driving through the Andes.

Morning Shift: 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Afternoon Shift: 1:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Pick-up from Hotel in Cusco
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Cusco to Cruzpata (approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes), where the ATV experience starts. - Safety Briefing & Practice
Upon arrival, meet your professional guide, receive helmets and ATVs, and learn the basics of safe driving. After a short practice session, you’ll be ready to hit the road. - ATV Ride through the Andes
Start your ride across dirt roads, farmlands, and open landscapes, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Andes and the Sacred Valley. This thrilling journey combines adrenaline with cultural discovery. - Visit Moray
Arrive at Moray, the extraordinary Inca agricultural terraces. Your guide will explain how these circular depressions created microclimates, showcasing the agricultural genius of the Incas. - Visit Maras Salt Mines
Continue your ATV adventure towards the Maras Salt Mines, an impressive complex of thousands of salt ponds cascading down the hillside. Learn about the traditional salt production methods still in use today, while enjoying incredible opportunities for photography. - Return Ride & Transfer to Cusco
Ride back to Cruzpata, return your ATVs, and board the transport to Cusco. Arrival is around 1:30 p.m. (morning shift) or 6:30 p.m. (afternoon shift).
