As we depart, we embark on a scenic journey through the winding roads of the Andes, where every turn reveals dramatic mountain landscapes, sparkling rivers, and small rural communities that maintain traditions passed down for centuries. Our first stop is the impressive Pisac Archaeological Site, perched high on a mountainside overlooking the valley. Descending into the town of Pisac, we immerse ourselves in one of the most vibrant markets in the Andes. The lively atmosphere, filled with the scent of Andean herbs and the sound of Quechua being spoken, makes this market a cultural experience in itself. We continue our journey to the town of Urubamba, often referred to as the “Heart of the Sacred Valley.” Here, you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
