Your day begins with a warm welcome from your professional guide, who will meet you in the comfort of your hotel lobby. As we depart, we embark on a scenic journey through the winding roads of the Andes, where every turn reveals dramatic mountain landscapes, sparkling rivers, and small rural communities that maintain traditions passed down for centuries. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into the history and culture of the Sacred Valley, setting the stage for the discoveries ahead. - 08:30 hrs – Pisac Archaeological Site
Our first stop is the impressive Pisac Archaeological Site, perched high on a mountainside overlooking the valley. This complex is celebrated for its extensive agricultural terraces that once sustained the Inca Empire, as well as its ceremonial areas, watchtowers, and intricate stonework. As you walk among the ruins, you will learn about the Inca’s advanced engineering, irrigation systems, and the spiritual significance of this site. The panoramic views from here are truly breathtaking, offering a perfect opportunity for photography. - 10:00 hrs – Pisac Market
Descending into the town of Pisac, we immerse ourselves in one of the most vibrant markets in the Andes. Here, local artisans proudly display their handmade textiles woven with alpaca and sheep wool, colorful ceramics, intricate silver jewelry, and a variety of traditional crafts. The lively atmosphere, filled with the scent of Andean herbs and the sound of Quechua being spoken, makes this market a cultural experience in itself. It’s the perfect place to find unique souvenirs and engage with the local community. - 12:00 hrs – Urubamba
We continue our journey to the town of Urubamba, often referred to as the “Heart of the Sacred Valley.” Here, you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. From quinoa salads and corn soups to savory meats and fresh vegetables, this meal is an authentic taste of the region’s culinary heritage, all set against a backdrop of lush valleys and towering mountains. - 13:30 hrs – Ollantaytambo Fortress
After lunch, we make our way to the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo, where ancient streets and stone buildings remain in continuous use since the 15th century. You will explore the monumental fortress that rises above the town, climbing its terraces to appreciate its strategic location and impressive architecture. Your guide will share stories of the epic battles fought here, as well as legends surrounding this sacred site, where history, culture, and myth converge. - 16:00 hrs – Chinchero
Our final stop is the charming highland village of Chinchero, known for its strong cultural traditions and artistic heritage.
